Qld: Three die on Queensland roads in the past 24 hours

BRISBANE, Dec 18 AAP - Three people were killed on Queensland roads in the past 24 hours.

Police said a 42-year-old man died after the car he was in rolled at Saltwater Creek
near Maryborough shortly after 1am (AEST) today.

In the central Queensland town of Rockhampton, a 22-year-old man died and another was
seriously injured after an accident on New Exhibition Road around 9.20pm yesterday.

A 53-year-old man died at Maryvale, north-east of Warwick in southern Queensland, when
the semi-trailer he was driving rolled on the Cunningham Highway about 4.15pm yesterday.

Motorists using the highway were advised they could face delays of up to an hour today
while emergency services right the rig and clear wreckage from the area.
