QLD:Relief for some but not for others

BRISBANE, Jan 13 AAP - "In one respect you think: you beaut! And then you think of
the poor bastards still out there copping it."
Steve O'Rourke, from the flood-ravaged suburb of Rosalie sums up the mood in Brisbane
on Thursday morning after a lower than expected overnight flood peak.
His home escaped flooding because of the smaller than expected rise in water level
but thousands of properties are still underwater and many here are doing it tough.
Hundreds of people remain in evacuation centres.
