Aug. 16--QUEENSBURY -- In her ongoing effort to find ways to attract and keep young people in upstate New York, Silda Wall Spitzer held an hourlong gathering at Adirondack Community College Wednesday afternoon, where she sought ideas from civic, academic and business representatives on what can be done to halt the exodus of young talent.
"It is an issue that has gotten a resounding response from everyplace," she said. "It has been a problem for decades, so there is no quick fix."
