Vic: Snow Report for Saturday August 4
The Victorian snow report for Saturday, August 4:
Falls Creek: Snow Depth: 21cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 10/16. Good skiing on Towers
and Tom Thumb. Cross country: Fair skiing on Mt McKay loop.
Mt Hotham: Snow Depth: 34cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 8/13. Good skiing on fresh cover
of snow at Big D, Summit and Big D trainers, Village and Playground. Cross Country: Poor
through Village to Mt Loch.
Mt Buller: Snow Depth: 10cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 7/25. Fair to good skiing and boarding
on Little Buller Spur and Bourke Street. Good skiing on man-made snow. Cross country:
Poor on Village trails. Good sightseeing.
Mt Baw Baw: Snow depth: 16cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 4/7. Fresh Snow: 0cm. Fair to
good skiing on a fair cover of softening snow. Best on Champagne and Hut runs. Very good
tobogganing and sightseeing. Cross country: Good skiing on resort trails.
Lake Mountain: Snow depth: 12cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Good cross country skiing on freshly-groomed
upper trails and fair on lower trails.
Mt Buffalo: Snow depth: 4cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 2/5. Good cover on Novice Poma
and Valley Chair. Good skiing on man-made snow. Good sightseeing and tobogganing.
Dinner Plain: Snow depth: 5cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 0/1. Cross country skiing on a fair cover.
Mt Stirling: Snow depth: TBJ: 0cm, GGS Hut: 10cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Insufficient for
cross country. Sightseeing only.
Mt St Gwinear: Snow depth: 15cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Lifts: 1/8. Cross country: Fair skiing
on a fair cover.
Mt Donna Buang: Snow depth: 3cm. Fresh Snow: 0cm Sightseeing snow. Toboggan run closed.
